Abstract
An electrophotographic photosensitive member includes a support and a charge generating layer and a charge transporting layer formed on the support. The charge generating layer contains an amine compound represented by the following formula (1); where R1 to R5 represent a hydrogen atom, halogen atom, hydroxy group, carboxyl group, alkoxycarbonyl group, aryloxycarbonyl group, alkyl group, alkoxy group, aryloxy group, amino group having a substituent group, or cyclic amino group; and at least one of R1 to R5 is an amino group substituted with an aryl group, amino group substituted with an alkyl group, or cyclic amino group.
Claims13
An electrophotographic photosensitive member comprising:
- a support;
- and
- a charge generating layer and a charge transporting layer formed on the support;
- wherein the charge generating layer comprises:
- a charge generating substance;
- and
- an amine compound represented by the following formula (1);
- where,
- R1 to R5 each independently represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a hydroxy group, a carboxyl group, an alkoxycarbonyl group, an aryloxycarbonyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkoxy group, a substituted or unsubstituted aryloxy group, an amino group having a substituent group, or a substituted or unsubstituted cyclic amino group;
- and
- at least one of R1 to R5 is an amino group substituted with a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group,
- an amino group substituted with a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, or
- a substituted or unsubstituted cyclic amino group,
- wherein the charge generating substance is a gallium phthalocyanine crystal.
