Claims26
A method of coating a silicone or polyaramid material with a recombinant silk polypeptide which comprises the steps of:
- i) providing a solution which comprises at least one recombinant silk polypeptide comprising at least two identical repetitive units and a solvent,
- ii) applying the solution on the silicone or polyaramid material and thereby uniformly coating the silicone or polyaramid material with the recombinant silk polypeptide, wherein the applying comprises immersing the silicone or polyaramid material into the solution or spraying the solution onto the silicone or polyaramid material, and
- iii) drying the silicone or polyaramid material coated with the recombinant silk polypeptide.
A silicone or polyaramid material non-dischargeable uniformly coated with at least one recombinant silk polypeptide comprising at least two identical repetitive units.
