Abstract
Regulation valve for a gas cooking appliance adapted for the supply of first and second different types of fuel gas, such as natural gas or liquefied gas. The regulation valve has a valve body with an inlet conduit and an outlet conduit, and a rotatable regulating organ housed in the valve body. The regulating organ has a plurality of inlet holes connected to the inlet conduit which, by means of the rotation of said regulating organ allow a gas flow to be altered, the inlet holes of the regulating organ corresponding to the first type of fuel gas are in a first axial position and the inlet holes corresponding to the second type of fuel gas are in a second axial position.
Claims20
A regulation valve for a gas cooking appliance adapted for the supply of natural gas or liquefied gas comprising:
- a valve body with an inlet conduit and an outlet conduit;
- and
- a regulating organ rotatable about an axis and housed in a cavity of the valve body, the cavity having a first gas inlet situated at a first axial position between the inlet conduit and the regulating organ and a second gas inlet located at a second axial position between the inlet conduit and the regulating organ, the second axial position different than the first axial position, the regulating organ including a first plurality of inlet holes corresponding to the liquefied gas disposed about the circumference of the regulating organ at the first axial position that are in fluid communication with the outlet conduit and connectable to the inlet conduit via the first gas inlet which by means of the rotation of the regulating organ allow a flow of the liquefied gas to be altered, the regulating organ including a second plurality of inlet holes corresponding to the natural gas disposed about the circumference of the regulating organ at the second axial position that are in fluid communication with the outlet conduit and connectable to the inlet conduit via the second gas inlet which by means of the rotation of the regulating organ allow a flow of the natural gas to be altered.
