Abstract
This application relates to carboxylate dyes suitable for use in fabric care compositions and in the treatment of fabrics.
Claims10
A carboxylate dye having the structure of formula (5):
- wherein
- A is an aromatic moiety, selected from substituted carbocyclic and substituted heterocyclic moieties;
- X is H, Cl, Br, OH, C1-4-alkyl or C1-4-alkoxy;
- R10, R11 each independently is H, C1-16-alkyl or C1-16-alkenyl;
- M is H or a charge balancing cation;
- L is an organic linking group;
- and
- R1, R2 each independently are selected from hydroxyalkylenes and polymeric epoxides.
