- in response to detecting the request for the list of voicemail message information stored with the first message provider, determine a first one of a plurality of commands to cause the first message provider to acquire the list from the voicemail mailbox;
- in response to detecting the request for the list of voicemail message information stored with the second message provider, determine a second one of the plurality of commands to cause the second message provider to acquire the list from the voicemail mailbox;
- and
- send the list of voicemail message information from the voicemail mailbox to the television via the terminal session.
A tangible machine readable storage device including instructions that, when executed, cause a mediation system of a television system to perform operations comprising:
- detecting a request for a list of voicemail message information stored with one of a first message provider or a second message provider, the request causing initiation of a terminal session between the television system and a television in accordance with a remote desktop protocol;
- determining an identifier associated with the television;
- querying a database to determine a voicemail mailbox associated with the identifier;
- in response to detecting the request for the list of voicemail message information stored with the first message provider, determining a first command to cause the first message provider to forward the list from the voicemail mailbox;
- in response to detecting the request for the list of voicemail message information stored with the second message provider, determining a second command to cause the second message provider to forward the list from the voicemail mailbox;
