Abstract
A display device includes a display panel including a front substrate and a back substrate, a back cover disposed in the rear of the display panel, and a transparent cover including a portion disposed in the front of the front substrate of the display panel. The transparent cover contains a resin material having transmission capable of transmitting light. The transparent cover is separated from a front surface of the front substrate by a predetermined distance, and an air layer is formed between the transparent cover and the front surface of the front substrate.
Claims14
A display device comprising:
- a display panel including a front substrate and a back substrate;
- a back cover disposed in the rear of the display panel;
- a transparent cover including a first portion provided over a front surface of the front substrate of the display panel and a second portion extending from the first portion to cover a side of the display panel, the side being perpendicular to the front surface of the display device, and the second portion of the transparent cover being connected to the back cover;
- and
- a frame provided between the transparent cover and display panel.
A display device comprising:
- a display panel including a front substrate and a back substrate;
- a back cover disposed in the rear of the display panel;
- a transparent cover including a first portion provided over a front surface of the front substrate of the display panel and a second portion extending from the first portion to cover a side of the display panel, the side being perpendicular to the front surface of the display device, the second portion being connected to the back cover, and the transparent cover being configure for transmission of light;
- and
- a gap provided between the front surface of the front substrate and the first portion.
