Method and apparatus for generating media content

A method comprising:

• receiving, by a device, sensory information representing characteristics of a first environment of a first communication device of a plurality of communication devices, wherein the sensory information is captured by a plurality of sensors coupled with the plurality of communication devices, wherein a first portion of the sensory information is captured by a sensor coupled to a second communication device located in a second environment in response to a notice broadcast by the first communication device requesting sensory information from other devices of the plurality of communication devices, wherein a broadcasting signal strength of the notice is selected based on characteristics of the first environment determined by the first communication device, wherein the first portion of the sensory information captured by the sensor represents a characteristic of the second environment in common with the first environment, wherein a second portion of the sensory information is obtained by the first communication device from the first environment;
• receiving, by the device, first criteria for generating media content from the sensory information;
• generating, by the device, the media content in accordance with the first criteria, the media content comprising an image;
• analyzing, by the device, the media content in accordance with second criteria;
• and
• adjusting, by the device, the media content based on the analyzing.

A method comprising:

• transmitting, by a first communication device of a plurality of communication devices, a notice via a broadcast signal to a second communication device requesting sensory information representing characteristics of a first environment of the first communication device, the sensory information captured by a sensor coupled with the second communication device, the second communication device being located in a second environment,
• wherein a signal strength of the broadcast signal is selected based on characteristics of the first environment determined by the first communication device,
• wherein the sensory information is captured by the sensor in response to the notice and represents a characteristic of the second environment in common with the first environment;
• obtaining, by the first communication device, the sensory information via an exchange between the first communication device and the second communication device;
• and
• providing, by the first communication device, the sensory information to a media device for generation of media content, the media device being remote from both the first environment and the second environment.
