Abstract
A solid-state imaging device includes a layout in which one sharing unit includes an array of photodiodes of 2 pixels by 4×n pixels (where, n is a positive integer), respectively, in horizontal and vertical directions.
Claims20
A solid-state imaging device comprising:
- a first structural unit including a first array of photodiodes of four first pixels in column and row directions, the first structural unit including:
- a first floating diffusion;
- four first transfer gates, each having a trapezoidal shape and arranged around the first floating diffusion;
- and
- a second structural unit including a second array of photodiodes of four second pixels in column and row directions, the second structural unit including:
- a second floating diffusion;
- four second transfer gates, each having a trapezoidal shape and arranged around the second floating diffusion;
- and
- an amplification transistor and a select transistor located between and interconnected to the first structural unit and the second structural unit.
