Techniques for generating customized two-dimensional barcodes

A computer-implemented method, comprising:

• receiving data for encoding;
• receiving a plurality of images that collectively form an animation;
• generating a two-dimensional barcode for each of the plurality of images to obtain a plurality of two-dimensional barcodes, wherein a specific two-dimensional barcode is generated based, at least in part, on a first data and a second data, wherein generating the specific two-dimensional barcode includes:
• generating the first data representative of a specific one of the images,
• obtaining a first modified data for encoding by appending the first data at an end of the data for encoding and after a parameter indicator character, and
• generating the second data representative of the first modified data for encoding;
• and
• generating an animated two-dimensional barcode based on the plurality of two-dimensional barcodes.

A computing device, comprising:

• a data input device configured to:
• receive data for encoding, and
• receive a plurality of images that collectively form an animation;
• one or more processors configured to:
• generate a two-dimensional barcode for each of the plurality of images to obtain a plurality of two-dimensional barcodes, wherein a specific two-dimensional barcode is generated based, at least in part, on a first data and a second data, wherein generating the specific two-dimensional barcode includes:
• generating the first data representative of a specific image,
• obtaining a first modified data for encoding by appending the first data at an end of the data for encoding and after a parameter indicator character, and
• generating the second data representative of the first modified data for encoding;
• and
• generate an animated two-dimensional barcode based on the plurality of two-dimensional barcodes.
