Abstract
Disclosed herein is a computer system including multiple worker nodes, each being equipped with an electric power generation unit and an electric power storage unit storing electric power generated by the electric power generation unit, and a master node responsible for management of tasks that are assigned to the worker nodes. Each worker node determines an operating cycle time of the worker node to execute a task assigned by the master node or communicate with any other worker node, based on information indicating a change in electric power stored in the electric power storage unit of the worker node.
Claims13
A computer system comprising:
- a plurality of worker nodes, each being equipped with an electric power generation unit and an electric power storage unit storing electric power generated by the electric power generation unit;
- and
- a master node responsible for management of tasks that are assigned to the worker nodes,
- wherein each of the worker nodes determine an operating cycle time of the worker node to execute a task assigned by the master node or communicate with any other worker node, based on information indicating an amount of change per unit time of electric power stored in the electric power storage unit of the worker node,
- wherein each of the worker nodes are provided with a cycle time determination table mapping between ranges of the amount of change per unit time of electronic power and operating cycle times, the operating cycle time being determined by multiplying a predetermined basic cycle by a power of two, and
- wherein each of the worker nodes determines the operation cycle time based on the information indicating the amount of change per unit time and the cycle time determination table.
A computer in a computer system comprising:
- a plurality of computers, each being equipped with an electric power generation unit and an electric power storage unit storing electric power generated by the electric power generation unit;
- and
- a master node responsible for management of tasks that are assigned to the computers,
- wherein the computer determines an operating cycle time of the computer to execute a task assigned by the master node or communicate with any other computer, based on information indicating an amount of change per unit time of electric power stored in the electric power storage unit of the computer,
- wherein the computer is provided with a cycle time determination table mapping between ranges of the amount of change per unit time of electric power and operating cycle time, the operating cycle time being determined by multiplying a predetermined basic cycle by a power of two, and
- wherein each of the worker nodes determines the operation cycle time based on the information indicating the amount of change per unit time and the cycle time determination table.
