Abstract
The present invention relates to compounds of Formula VIII with absolute configuration R or S: as well as pharmaceutically acceptable salts, hydrates, or solvates thereof, wherein the variables are described herein. The present invention further relates to pharmaceutical compositions which comprise the compounds of Formula VIII, and to methods for inhibiting protein kinase and methods of treating diseases, such as cancers, inflammation.

A compound of Formula VIII with absolute configuration R or S, or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate, or solvate thereof:
- wherein,
- R1 is selected from:
- R2 is independently H, halogen, CN, NO2, CF3, OCF3, NH2, NReRf, C1-C6 alkyl, C3-C6 cycloalkyl, OCH3, COOCH3, or NHCOCH2CH3;
- R3 is
- R4 is independently H, halogen, CN, NO2, CF3, OCF3, NH2, NReRf, C1-C6 alkyl, C3-C6 cycloalkyl, OCH3, COOCH3, or NHCOCH2CH3;
- R5 is independently H, C1-C6 alkyl, C3-C6 cycloalkyl, phenyl, or benzyl;
- R6 is independently H, halogen, CN, NO2, CF3, OCF3, NH2, NReRf, C1-C6 alkyl, C3-C6 cycloalkyl, OCH3, COOCH3, or NHCOCH2CH3;
- R7 is independently H, C1-C6 alkyl, or C3-C6 cycloalkyl;
- R8 is independently H, halogen, CN, NO2, CF3, NH2, NReRf, C1-C6 alkyl, or C3-C6 cycloalkyl;
- Re and Rf is independently C1-C6 alkyl;
- m is 0, 1, or 2;
- n is 0, 1, or 2;
- w is 0, 1, or 2;
- s is 0, 1, or 2;
- u is 0, 1, or 2;
- and
- q is 1 or 2.
