System and method to assist in lifting a vessel

A method comprising:

• connecting a cable to a cable link of a frame, the cable link secured to the frame, the frame secured to a vessel with the vessel having a top end, a bottom end, and a center-of-gravity therebetween;
• and
• moving the cable to move the vessel from a first position to a second position, the second position being closer to a vertical position than the first position;
• wherein, as the vessel moves from the first position to the second position, the cable engages the cable support such that a lifting force is translated from the cable and through the cable support to have the cable move the vessel through the cable support, the cable support attached to the frame or the vessel with the cable support disposed above the center-of-gravity.

A method comprising:

• connecting a frame to a separator, the separator having a top end and a bottom end with a center-of-gravity for the separator disposed between the top end and the bottom end;
• connecting a first cable link to the frame closer to the top end of the separator than the bottom end of the separator, the cable link configured to secure to a cable;
• and
• connecting a first cable support to the separator or the frame, the first cable support disposed above the center-of-gravity of the separator, the first cable support comprising a cylindrical member extending from a first end adjacent to the separator of the frame to a second end, wherein the first cable support has a flange adjacent the second end, the flange having a diameter greater than a diameter of the cylindrical member.
