Claims14
An ion-conducting membrane comprising a polymer membrane comprising a polymer PM with a layer S which has been applied thereto in an imagewise manner, adheres thereon and is based on a powder of a polymer PP, wherein said layer S in conjunction with said polymer membrane is suitable as a gasket edge and brings about mechanical reinforcement, wherein said powder comprises
- a) the polymer PP, comprising 30 to 50 parts by weight of polybenzimidazole, parts by weight being based on the powder,
- b) a flexibilizing component comprising a polytetrafluoroethylene powder, and
- c) a dispersant comprising a sulfonated polytetrafluoroethylene.
