Mixing apparatus for magnet recycling

A gas mixing apparatus for fragmenting and mixing waste magnetic material comprising:

• a first reaction vessel comprising a first internal liner having a first plurality of openings defined therein, the first internal liner configured to receive magnetic material and facilitate circulation of gas around the magnetic material through the first plurality of openings;
• a second reaction vessel comprising a second internal liner having a second plurality of openings defined therein, the second internal liner configured to receive magnetic material and facilitate circulation of gas around the magnetic material through the second plurality of openings;
• a first gas supply line for providing gas to the first reaction vessel;
• a second gas supply line for providing gas to the second reaction vessel;
• and
• a pump and valve assembly operatively coupled to the first reaction vessel and the second reaction vessel to control i) introduction of gas into the first reaction vessel using the first gas supply line and introduction of gas into the second reaction vessel using the second gas supply line and ii) pumping of gas from the first reaction vessel using the first gas supply line and into the second reaction vessel using the second gas supply line.
