Abstract
A rotating water amusement ride is described in which the passengers can in a simpler manner walk to their seats in the water vessels while keeping their feet dry. This is principally achieved by a water amusement ride, with at least one water vessel which is preferably movable in the body of water, and having a float body which is borne by the water and which has seats for accommodating passengers, wherein a platform is provided which, in a rest state of the water amusement ride, protrudes out of the water surface.
Claims20
A water amusement ride, comprising:
- at least one water vessel which is movable in a body of water, and which has seats for accommodating passengers;
- a platform, comprising a plurality of rotatable individual platforms;
- said platform and said individual platforms in a rest state of the water amusement ride, protrudes out of a surface of the body of water and which, in an operating state, lies below the surface;
- and
- a lifting device coupled to the platform for lifting said platform and said individual platforms.
A water amusement ride, comprising:
- at least one water vessel which is movable in a body of water, and having seats for accommodating passengers;
- and
- a platform which, in a rest state of the water amusement ride, protrudes out of a surface of the body of water and which, in an operating state, lies below the surface,
- wherein the at least one water vessel, in the rest state, is fixed to the platform or to the individual platforms, and, in the operating state, is released such that it can perform a rotational movement and/or tilting movement.
The water amusement ride, comprising:
- at least one water vessel which is movable in a body of water, which has seats for accommodating passengers;
- a platform which, in arrest state of the water amusement ride, protrudes out of a surface of the body of water and which, in an operating state, lies below the surface;
- a raising device which raises the platform and/or the individual platform out of the surface in the rest state;
- and
- coupling elements which ensure that, when the platform is raised, the individual platforms are jointly raised with said platform.
A water amusement ride comprising:
- at least one water vessel to hold passengers, containing a platform which protrudes from a water surface of a watercourse in a state of rest of the water amusement ride and lies beneath the water surface in an operational state;
- and
- a lifting device, which lifts the platform out of the water surface, wherein the platform has several individual platforms each rotating around its own axis of rotation.
A method for operating a water amusement ride with water vessels provided to hold passengers, and with a platform which comprises several individual platforms, each rotating around own axis of rotation, which rotate in an operational state, whereby the platform and the individual platforms lie beneath a water surface in said operational state and which protrude from the water surface in a state of rest, whereby a lifting device lifts the platform above the water surface and with such a lifting of the platform that individual platforms automatically are lifted by coupling elements.
