Abstract
A safety hook including a hook body, a latch member, a locking portion, and a control member is disclosed. The latch member is capable of rotating about a guide pin and swinging along a guide slot in an arc-shaped path to open or close a hook opening, wherein when the latch member locks and closes the hook opening, the locking portion and the guide pin form a locked chain structure to bear a lateral impact force on the latch member. When the latch member rotates about the guide pin and swings along the guide slot in an arc-shaped path to open or close the hook opening, the control member is capable of driving the locking edge to release the locking portion, so as to open the hook opening by a swinging movement of the latch member.
Claims10
A safety hook, comprising:
- a hook body having a hook hole, a first pivot hole, a guide slot, and a hook opening which communicates the hook hole to outside, wherein said hook hole, said first pivot hole, and said hook opening penetrate through a thickness of said hook body respectively, wherein said guide slot is constructed in arc-shape with said first pivot hole as a center thereof, wherein said hook body further comprises a locking portion which is protruded out of said thickness of said hook body;
- a latch member comprising two side panels along said thickness for covering said guide slot, wherein each of said two side panels comprises a locking edge for coupling with said locking portion, wherein said two side panels have a first guide hole, wherein a guide pin inserting and penetrating through said guide slot is coupled with said first guide hole, wherein latch member is capable of rotating about said guide pin and swinging along said guide slot in an arc-shaped path to open or close said hook opening, wherein when said latch member locks and closes said hook opening, said locking portion and said guide pin form a locked chain structure to bear a lateral impact force on said latch member;
- a main spring, which is arranged for actuating and driving said latch member, and retaining the locking edge at a position to bias against said locking portion, so as to retain said latch member to lock and close said hook opening;
- and
- a control member comprising a main shaft coupling with said first pivot hole, and having a second guide hole for coupling with said guide pin, wherein when said latch member rotates about said guide pin and swings along said guide slot in an arc-shaped path to open or close said hook opening, said control member is capable of driving said locking edge to release said locking portion, so as to open said hook opening by a swinging movement of said latch member.
