System and method for securely transmitting data using video validation

A system for secure transmission of electronic information, the method comprising:

• an information processor that sends and receives electronic information over a communication network, wherein the information processor is configured with instructions that, when executed, cause the information processor to:
• store, in processor readable media, metadata associated with an interactive data feed;
• receive over the Internet from a first computing device associated with a vendor of goods or services, a request for establishing a secure transaction associated with a sales transaction of at least one of the goods or services, wherein the sales transaction involves a second computing device associated with a consumer and further wherein the first computing device and the second computing device are communicating via an Internet-based communication session;
• bridge the Internet-based communication session to a second communication session, wherein the second communication session supports transmission of the interactive data feed;
• receive, from the second computing device, first information that is at least associated with the interactive data feed;
• validate the first video information with the video metadata;
• provide matched metadata as a function of the validating;
• and
• transmit the matched metadata to facilitate the sales transaction.

A method for secure transmission of electronic information, the method comprising:

• storing, in processor readable media, metadata associated with an interactive data feed;
• receiving, by an information processor and over the Internet from a first computing device associated with a consumer, a request for establishing a secure transaction associated with a sales transaction of at least one of the goods or services, wherein the sales transaction involves a second computing device associated with a vendor of goods or services and further wherein the first computing device and the second computing device are communicating via an Internet-based communication session;
• bridging, by the information processor, the Internet-based communication session to a second communication session, wherein the second communication session supports transmission of an interactive data feed;
• receiving, by the information processor from the first computing device, first information that is at least associated with the interactive data feed;
• validating, by the information processor, the first information with the metadata;
• providing, by the information processor, matched metadata as a function of the validating;
• and
• transmitting, by the information processor to the second computing device, information associated with the matched metadata to facilitate the sales transaction.
