Abstract
A method for preparing rocuronium is disclosed. 2β-(4-Morpholinyl)-16β-(1-pyrrolidinyl)-5α-androstan-3α-ol-17β-acetate is used as a starting material and is directly reacted with 3-bromopropene at ambient temperature to produce rocuronium.

A method for preparing rocuronium bromide, wherein 2β-(4-morpholinyl)-16β-(1-pyrrolidinyl)-5α-androstan-3α-ol-17β-acetate is reacted with 3-bromopropene without a solvent;
- after the reaction is completed, the reaction mixture is dissolved in a solvent, and an anti-solvent is added;
- rocuronium bromide product is obtained by filtration,
