Abstract
This invention relates to machine-building, more specifically, to the design and manufacturing of positive displacement motors various embodiments of which are used for hydrocarbon production.
Claims12
A progressive cavity hydraulic machine comprising a multi-lobe rotor and a stator of helical shape without elastomeric coating installed with a clearance wherein said stator is a hard metal, alloy, ceramic or composite material wherein said clearance is 0.05 mm to 0.5 mm, and wherein the rotor surface or the stator surface comprises a groove wherein dimensions the groove comprise a width of 5 mm to 10 mm and a depth of 0.05 mm to 10 mm.
A progressive cavity hydraulic machine comprising:
- a stator;
- and
- a rotor that comprises lobes wherein at least one lobe comprises openings and a through channel that hydraulically connect a first chamber defined between the rotor and the stator and a second chamber defined between the rotor and the stator, wherein the through channel comprises an axis and wherein the axis is curved.
