## Abstract

A novel maize variety designated PH1TWW and seed, plants and plant parts thereof. Methods for producing a maize plant that comprise crossing maize variety PH1TWW with another maize plant. Methods for producing a maize plant containing in its genetic material one or more traits introgressed into PH1TWW through backcross conversion and/or transformation, and to the maize seed, plant and plant part produced thereby. Hybrid maize seed, plant or plant part produced by crossing the variety PH1TWW or a locus conversion of PH1TWW with another maize variety.

## Claims

### Claim 1

A seed, plant, plant part, or cell of inbred maize variety PH1TWW, representative seed of said variety having been deposited under ATCC accession number PTA-121976.

### Claim 2 (depends on 1)

A method of collecting data, the method comprising a) isolating nucleic acids from the seed, plant, plant part, or cell of claim 1; and b) recording data based on said nucleic acids.

### Claim 3 (depends on 1)

A maize seed produced by crossing the plant or plant part of claim 1 with a different maize plant.

### Claim 4 (depends on 3)

A maize plant produced by growing the maize seed of claim 3.

### Claim 5 (depends on 4)

A method for producing a second maize plant comprising applying plant breeding techniques to a first maize plant, or parts thereof, wherein said first maize plant is the maize plant of claim 4, and wherein application of said techniques results in the production of said second maize plant.

### Claim 6 (depends on 5)

The method for producing a second maize plant of claim 5, comprising:
(a) crossing said first maize plant with itself or another maize plant to produce seed of a subsequent generation;
(b) harvesting and planting the seed of the subsequent generation to produce at least one plant of the subsequent generation; and
(c) repeating steps (a) and (b) for an additional 2-10 generations to produce said second maize plant.

### Claim 7 (depends on 6)

The second maize plant produced by the method of claim 6, wherein said second maize plant has essentially all of the morphological and physiological characteristics of inbred maize variety PH1TWW when grown under the same environmental conditions.

### Claim 8 (depends on 5)

The method for producing a second maize plant of claim 5, further comprising:
(a) crossing said first maize plant with an inducer variety to produce haploid seed; and
(b) doubling the haploid seed to produce a second maize plant.

### Claim 9 (depends on 8)

The second maize plant produced by the method of claim 8, wherein said second maize plant has essentially all of the morphological and physiological characteristics of inbred maize variety PH1TWW when grown under the same environmental conditions.

### Claim 10

A seed, plant, plant part, or cell of inbred maize variety PH1TWW, representative seed of said variety having been deposited under ATCC accession number PTA-121976, further comprising a locus conversion, wherein the seed with the locus conversion produces a plant which has otherwise all of the morphological and physiological characteristics of inbred maize variety PH1TWW when grown in the same environmental conditions; and wherein the plant, plant part or cell with the locus conversion has otherwise all of the morphological and physiological characteristics of maize variety PH1TWW.

### Claim 11 (depends on 10)

The seed, plant, plant part, or cell of claim 10, wherein the locus conversion confers a trait selected from the group consisting of male sterility, site-specific recombination, abiotic stress tolerance, altered phosphorus, altered antioxidants, altered fatty acids, altered essential amino acids, altered carbohydrates, herbicide tolerance, insect resistance and disease resistance.

### Claim 12 (depends on 10)

A method of collecting data, the method comprising a) isolating nucleic acids from the seed, plant, plant part, or cell of claim 10; and b) recording data based on said nucleic acids.

### Claim 13 (depends on 10)

A maize seed produced by crossing the plant or plant part of claim 10 with a different maize plant.

### Claim 14 (depends on 13)

A maize plant produced by growing the seed of claim 13.

### Claim 15 (depends on 14)

A method for producing a second maize plant comprising applying plant breeding techniques to a first maize plant, or parts thereof, wherein said first maize plant is the maize plant of claim 14, and wherein application of said techniques results in production of said second maize plant.

### Claim 16 (depends on 15)

The method of claim 15, further comprising:
(a) crossing said first maize plant with itself or another maize plant to produce seed of a subsequent generation;
(b) harvesting and planting the seed of the subsequent generation to produce at least one plant of the subsequent generation; and
(c) repeating steps (a) and (b) for an additional 2-10 generations to produce said second maize plant.

### Claim 17 (depends on 16)

The second maize plant produced by the method of claim 16, wherein said second maize plant has essentially the same all of the morphological and physiological characteristics of inbred maize variety PH1TWW when grown under the same environmental conditions.

### Claim 18 (depends on 15)

The method of claim 15, comprising:
(a) crossing said first maize plant with an inducer variety to produce haploid seed; and
(b) doubling the haploid seed to produce a said second maize plant.

### Claim 19 (depends on 18)

The second maize plant produced by the method of claim 18, wherein said second maize plant has essentially the same all of the morphological and physiological characteristics of inbred maize variety PH1TWW when grown under the same environmental conditions.
