Abstract
An electrophotographic photoreceptor includes a cylindrical conductive substrate that has a thickness of from 0.4 mm to 0.6 mm and a Young's modulus of from 20 GPa to 80 GPa, and a photosensitive layer that is provided on the conductive substrate, wherein an elastic deformation ratio of a layer forming the outermost surface is from 0.35% to 0.47%.

An electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising:
- a cylindrical conductive substrate that has a thickness of from 0.4 mm to 0.6 mm and a Young's modulus of from 20 GPa to 80 GPa;
- and
- a photosensitive layer that is provided on the conductive substrate,
- wherein an elastic deformation ratio of a layer forming the outermost surface is from 0.35% to 0.47%.
