Abstract
A heating system can include certain pressure sensitive features. These features can be configured to change from a first position to a second position based on a pressure of a fuel flowing into the feature. These features can include, fuel selector valves, pressure regulators, burner nozzles, and oxygen depletion sensor nozzles, among other features.
Claims22
An oxygen depletion sensor comprising:
- a thermocouple;
- an igniter;
- a housing having a single inlet, and at least one outlet, the thermocouple and the igniter coupled to the housing adjacent the at least one outlet;
- a first injector positioned within the housing;
- a second injector positioned within the housing;
- a first valve body and a first biasing member positioned within the housing to control flow of fuel from the single inlet to the first injector;
- and
- a second valve body and a second biasing member positioned within the housing to control flow of fuel from the single inlet to the second injector;
- wherein at a first predetermined fluid pressure the first valve body is configured to be open and the second valve body is configured to be closed and at a second predetermined fluid pressure, greater than the first, the first valve body is configured to be closed by the second predetermined fluid pressure acting on the first valve body and the second valve body is configured to be opened by the second predetermined fluid pressure acting on the second valve body.

An oxygen depletion sensor comprising:
- a thermocouple;
- an igniter;
- a housing coupled to the thermocouple and the igniter, and the housing having a single inlet, a first outlet, and a second outlet;
- a first injector positioned within the housing and configured to direct fuel to the first outlet;
- a second injector positioned within the housing and configured to direct fuel to the second outlet;
- a first valve body and a first biasing member positioned within the housing to control flow of fuel from the single inlet to the first injector;
- and
- a second valve body and a second biasing member positioned within the housing to control flow of fuel from the single inlet to the second injector;
