Abstract
Organic gels of resorcinol-formaldehyde type, carbon-based materials of adjusted porosity derived therefrom by pyrolysis. Such materials may be used, in particular, for the production of electrodes.
Claims16
A carbon-based material obtained by pyrolysis of a xerogel of at least one hydrophilic polymer and of at least one nitrogen-based latex, the polymer and the latex being cocrosslinked, characterized in that it is in the form of a monolith formed of carbon comprising from 0.1 to 20% by weight of graphite, with respect to the total weight of the material, and by the presence of at least three of the following peaks in the X-ray diffreaction spectrum measured on a diffractometer in 0-0 configuration equipped with a copper anticathode and expressed in terms of Bragg 2θ angle:
- 2θ angle
- 26.2 (*)
- 54.4 (*)
- 56.1 (**)
- ** values ±0.5°
- *value ±1°.
