Abstract
A liquid collection bag is used as a part of an extracorporeal circuit and is connected via a tube to a storage container containing a priming solution. The collection container collects the priming solution from the storage container by a pressure differential between the pressure inside the collection container and the pressure inside the storage container. The liquid collection container is a flexible bag body having a partition part dividing the inside of the bag body into a first space and a second space. In addition, a communication part communicates the first space with the second space.
Claims13
A liquid collection bag in combination with a storage container,
- - - -
- at least a part of the intermediate portion being located in either the first space or the second space;
- wherein the communication part is initially provided in an open state;
- and
- the liquid from the storage container is introduced into the first space by way of the introduction part, and is collected into the second space by way of the communication part.
A liquid collection bag in combination with a storage container, the liquid collection bag comprising:
- - - -
- the communication part fluidly communicating the first space and the second space with one another, the communication part passing through the partition and being located in the interior of the flexible bag body so that the communication part is enclosed by the periphery of the flexible bag body;
- wherein the communication part is initially provided in an open state;
- an introduction part possessing an end positioned in the first space, the introduction part connected to a tube in fluid communication with the storage container;
- - - -
- the second space configured to collect, via the communication part, the liquid received by the first space.
