Method and apparatus having resistance to forced termination attack on monitoring program for monitoring a predetermined resource

A non-transitory computer-readable medium containing program instructions executing on a computer for giving resistance to a forced termination attack on a monitoring program that monitors a predetermined resource in the computer, the program instructions for:

• in response to an execution of a predetermined process on the computer, generating a new thread by a program starting unit, and starting execution of the monitoring program on the processor within the new thread, wherein the computer executes the predetermined process including the monitoring program;
• and wherein the predetermined process is a process which is not allowed to use the predetermined resource to be monitored by the monitoring program in the case of termination;
• terminating, by a terminator executing on the computer, the predetermined process in the case where the monitoring program is forcibly terminated from the outside;
• and
• deleting, by a thread hiding unit executing on the computer, information for identifying the new generated thread from return values of a thread extraction program for extracting information for identifying running threads.
