Abstract
New plastomer material for use in automotive parts such as bumpers is devised here, which is a novel polyethylene produced by a gas phase process.

A polyethylene copolymer composition, having a density of from 0.880 to 0.912 g/cm3, a Mw/Mn of 5<MWD<8, and an intrinsic viscosity in decalin at 135° C. as determined according to EN ISO 1628-312003 of from >1.6 dL/g, said copolymer composition having a high temperature melting peak in DSC (Tm2) at a temperature of from 126 to 131° C., and comprising at least one C4-C12-α-olefin comonomer.
A mixed catalyst comprising as a first catalyst bis(1-n-butyl-3-methyl-cyclopentadienyl)zirconium dihalogenide and as a second catalyst 2,6-bis[1-(2-Chlor-4,6-dimethylphenylimino)ethyl]pyridine iron(II) dihalogenide, wherein the halogenide is selected from the group consisting of fluoride, chloride and bromide.
