Abstract
A method for producing β-glucanase and xylanase which includes the step of culturing a microorganism classified under the genus Trichoderma using a liquid culture medium which contains (a) a pulp derived from paper which has not been subjected to heat treatment nor alkali treatment as a carbon source, and (b) an ammonia nitrogen or an amino nitrogen as a nitrogen source.

A method for producing β-glucanase and xylanase comprising the step of culturing Trichoderma reesei in a liquid culture medium containing (a) a pulp derived from paper which has not been subjected to heat treatment nor alkali treatment as a carbon source and (b) an ammonia nitrogen or an amino nitrogen as a nitrogen source, wherein
- the concentration of the ammonia nitrogen or amino nitrogen in the liquid culture medium is from 35-660 mM.
