Claims18
A method of reducing ocular edema in a human in need thereof comprising administering to the human a therapeutically-effective amount of a human protein tyrosine phosphatase beta-extracellular domain (HPTPβ-ECD) binding agent, wherein the HPTPβ-ECD binding agent is a monoclonal antibody or an antigen-binding fragment thereof, wherein the monoclonal antibody or the antigen-binding fragment thereof binds to a FN3 domain in the HPTPβ-ECD.
A method of reducing diabetic macular edema comprising administering to a human in need thereof a composition comprising a therapeutically-effective amount of a human protein tyrosine phosphatase beta-extracellular domain (HPTPβ-ECD) binding agent, wherein the HPTPβ-ECD binding agent is a monoclonal antibody or an antigen-binding fragment thereof, wherein the monoclonal antibody or the antigen-binding fragment thereof binds to a FN3 domain in the HPTPβ-ECD.
