Abstract
A blood coagulation analysis device and method in which information relating to the coagulability of blood is evaluated based on a change generated in a permittivity measured in a coagulation process of the blood due to addition of a substance that activates or inactivates platelets to the blood.
Claims14
A blood coagulation analysis device comprising an acquisition section configured to acquire information relating to coagulability of a blood sample based on a change generated in a permittivity measured in a coagulation process of the blood sample due to addition of a substance that activates platelets to the blood sample, wherein the acquisition section:
- comprises a measuring section that measures a permittivity of the blood sample;
- and
- comprises an analyzing section that (a) determines a change in at least one parameter of the measured permittivity with respect to that of a reference permittivity of the blood sample with and without a substance that activates platelets in the blood sample to initiate a coagulation process of the blood sample, (b) compares the change with a reference value, and (c) generates information relating to coagulability of the blood sample based on the comparison, the information including data relating to aggregability of the platelets included in the blood sample in an inactive state.
A blood coagulation analysis device comprising an acquisition section that acquires information relating to coagulability of a blood sample based on a change generated in a permittivity measured in a coagulation process of the blood sample due to addition of a substance that inactivates platelets to the blood sample, wherein the acquisition section:
- comprises a measuring section that measures a permittivity of the blood sample;
- comprises an analyzing section that (a) determines a change in at least one parameter of the measured permittivity with respect to that of a reference permittivity of the blood sample with and without a substance that inactivates platelets in the blood sample to initiate a coagulation process of the blood sample, (b) compares the change with a reference value, and (c) generates information relating to coagulability of the blood sample based on the comparison, the information including data relating to aggregability of the platelets included in the blood sample in an active state.
