Medical needle and puncturing instrument

A medical needle comprising

• a puncturing part configured to penetrate into a living body, the puncturing part having at least two planar portions and a retaining chamber, the retaining chamber being defined within the puncturing part, the retaining chamber passing through the puncturing part to provide an opening at outer surfaces of each of the at least two planar portions, the outer surfaces of the at least two planar portions being parallel to each other;
• wherein the retaining chamber has at least two truncated cone-shaped widening portions, the at least two truncated cone-shaped widening portions being joined together such that a diameter of each of the at least two truncated cone-shaped widening portions increases from inside the puncturing part toward a respective one of the at least two planar portions;
• and
• wherein the retaining chamber is configured to hold a substance to be administered to the living body.

A medical needle comprising:

• a puncturing part configured to penetrate into a living body, the puncturing part having at least two planar portions and a retaining chamber, the retaining chamber being defined within the puncturing part, the retaining chamber passing through the puncturing part to provide an opening at outer surfaces of each of the at least two planar portions, the outer surfaces of the at least two planar portions being parallel to each other;
• wherein the retaining chamber has at least two truncated cone-shaped widening portions, the at least two truncated cone-shaped widening portions being joined together such that a diameter of each of the at least two truncated cone-shaped widening portions increases from inside the puncturing part toward a respective one of the at least two planar portions;
• and
• wherein the retaining chamber is configured to collect an object from within the living body when the puncturing part is inserted into the living body.
