Ophthalmologic device for breaking down eye tissue

Ophthalmological apparatus comprising:

• a base station that includes a housing, a light source for generating light pulses within the housing, and a light beam deflector within the housing;
• an application head including a housing that is independent from and arranged externally in relation to the housing of the base station and may be mounted on an eye, the application head
• having a light projector within its housing and configured to project light pulses in a focused way for punctiform breakdown of eye tissue, and
• movement drivers within its housing for moving the light projector in a feed direction and in a first scanning direction, wherein
• the light beam deflector is arranged in the base station to receive light pulses from the light source and to deflect the light pulses in a second scanning direction;
• and
• an optical transmission system that transmits the deflected light pulses from the light beam deflector to the application head, and for superimposing the light pulses deflected in the second scanning direction onto the movement of the light projector in the first scanning direction.
