Abstract
The present invention relates to pyrrolidin-2-ones according to the formula (1), or salts thereof, wherein R1 is hydrogen or a nitrogen protecting group, methods for their preparation and their use in the preparation of NEP-inhibitors, particularly in the preparation of N-(3-carboxyl-1-oxopropyl)-(4S)-(p-phenylphenylmethyl)-4-amino-(2R)-methyl butanoic acid ethyl ester or salt thereof.
Claims15
A compound selected from the group consisting of
- a) a compound according to formula (2), or tautomer, or salt thereof,
- wherein R1 is hydrogen or a nitrogen protecting group,
- b) a compound according to formula (13), or tautomer, or salt thereof,
- wherein R1 is hydrogen or a nitrogen protecting group,
- c) a compound according to formula (15), or salt thereof,
- wherein R1 is hydrogen or a nitrogen protecting group,
- d) a compound according to formula (16), or salt thereof,
- wherein R1 is hydrogen or a nitrogen protecting group,
- e) a compound according to formula (20), or salt thereof,
- wherein R1 is hydrogen or a nitrogen protecting group, R10 is a group which can be saponified and/or decarboxylated and R11 is hydrogen or methyl
- f) a compound according to formula (21), or tautomer, or salt thereof,
