Frothing assembly and method of operating the same

An automated frothing assembly, comprising:

• a wand module, the wand module including an elongate member having an inlet,
• at least one outlet;
• and
• a fluid passageway extending between and in fluid communication with the inlet and the at least one outlet;
• a first actuator configured to be operatively coupled to the wand module and to drive the movement of at least a portion of the wand module along a first axis;
• an electronic controller configured to be electrically coupled to the first actuator and to control the operation of the first actuator to control the movement of the wand module;
• a container holder configured to receive a container having a liquid disposed therein that is to be frothed by the frothing assembly;
• a cleaning container configured to be used to clean at least a portion of the wand module;
• and
• a second actuator configured to be operatively coupled to one or both of the container holder and the cleaning container, and to drive the movement of the container holder and/or cleaning container along a second axis.
