Abstract
A backlight unit and a display apparatus using the same are disclosed. The backlight unit includes a first reflector, a second reflector partially having an inclined surface, a plurality of light sources disposed between the first reflector and the second reflector, and a third reflector disposed between adjacent light sources.

A backlight unit comprising:
- a first reflector;
- a second reflector at least partially faced with the first reflector;
- a light source module arranged between the first reflector and the second reflector, the light source module includes a plurality of light sources and a circuit board;
- a third reflector arranged between adjacent light sources;
- and
- an optical member spaced apart from the second reflector by a predetermined distance,
- wherein an air guide is defined in the space between the second reflector and the optical member, and the first reflector and the third reflector is disposed between the second reflector and the optical member.
