Abstract
The identifier and position and/or location of at least one identification mark is identified by a first optical recording device that is designed so that spatial position and/or location of an identification mark can be detected by the first optical recording device. A second optical recording device is designed so that it can scan a plan projection of at least a part of the measurement volume of the first optical recording device in a spatially resolved manner. Transformation information allows the definition of a region of interest (ROI) in the spatially resolved information about the scanned projection. The ROI is searched for the presence and type of identifier information to determine the identifier of the detected identification mark.
Claims19
System for detecting the identifier and the position of at least one identification mark comprising:
- at least one first optical recording device being adapted such that, by means of said first optical recording device, the spatial position of at least one identification mark being arranged inside the measurement volume of said first optical recording device can be detected;
- at least one data processing means, being at least indirectly connected to said first recording device and receiving information therefrom about the spatial position of said detected identification mark;
- at least one second optical recording device being adapted such that, by means of said second optical recording device, a plan projection of at least part of the measurement volume of said first optical recording device can be scanned in a spatially resolved manner;
- where
- said at least one data processing means is at least indirectly connected to said second optical recording device and receives spatially resolved information therefrom about said scanned projection;
- and where
- said at least one data processing means has transformation information available that allows the definition of a region of interest (ROI) in the spatially resolved information regarding said scanned projection, where said ROI are searched for the presence and the type of identifier information in order to determine therefrom the identifier of said detected identification mark
- characterized in that
- a data structure is provided in a first memory device connected to said at least one data processing means and at least partially comprises a virtual representation of said space spanned by said measurement volume of said first optical recording device, where said virtual representation comprises information about the target position of at least one identification mark as well as at least one associated identifier;
- and
- said at least one data processing means performs a comparison between said actual position of an identification mark and said target position of an identification mark within said virtual representation, as well as a comparison of the determined identifier of said detected identification mark and the identifier of said corresponding identification mark stored within said data structure;
- and as a result of said comparison outputs a signal representing a “match” or “no match”.
Method for controlling the positioning of a plurality of identification marks relative to each other and/or absolute within said virtual representation, where said identification marks are arranged in particular on and/or in one or more objects and/or humans, and wherein said method uses a system for detecting the identifier and the position-of at least one identification mark comprising:
- at least one first optical recording device being adapted such that, by means of said first optical recording device, the spatial position of at least one identification mark being arranged inside the measurement volume of said first optical recording device can be detected;
- at least one data processing means, being at least indirectly connected to said first recording device and receiving information therefrom about the spatial position of said detected identification mark;
- at least one second optical recording device being adapted such that, by means of said second optical recording device, a plan projection of at least part of the measurement volume of said first optical recording device can be scanned in a spatially resolved manner;
- where
- said at least one data processing means is at least indirectly connected to said second optical recording device and receives spatially resolved information therefrom about said scanned projection;
- and where
- said at least one data processing means has transformation information available that allows the definition of a region of interest (ROI) in the spatially resolved information regarding said scanned projection, where said ROI are searched for the presence and the type of identifier information in order to determine therefrom the identifier of said detected identification mark
- characterized in that
- a data structure is provided in a first memory device connected to said at least one data processing means and at least partially comprises a virtual representation of said space spanned by said measurement volume of said first optical recording device, where said virtual representation comprises information about the target position of at least one identification mark as well as at least one associated identifier;
- and
- said at least one data processing means performs a comparison between said actual position of an identification mark and said target position of an identification mark within said virtual representation, as well as a comparison of the determined identifier of said detected identification mark and the identifier of said corresponding identification mark stored within said data structure;
- and as a result of said comparison outputs a signal representing a “match” or “no match”.
