Abstract
Tracking and management data for distribution of informational, legal, or contractual notices and tracking associated response, or non-response, is disclosed. The system generates and links tracking data for both the distribution and the response, generates indicators that include the tracking data, and encodes the indicators so that the indicators are detectable as they traverse various events and locations throughout the lifecycle. A detailed audit trail of each event in the distribution and response lifecycle is constructed using data matching methods and various statistics regarding the lifecycle, such that the response habits of notice recipients are formulated.

A computer-based method comprising:
- receiving, by a distribution tracking computer, first distribution tracking data from a service provider, wherein the first distribution tracking data is based upon detection of a first distribution tracking indicator associated with a notice, wherein a first notice tracking identifier is associated with the first distribution tracking indicator, wherein the first notice tracking identifier is one of a plurality of notice tracking identifiers, wherein each of the plurality of notice tracking identifiers is associated with a respective distribution tracking indicator and each respective distribution tracking indicator is configured to be detected;
- matching, by the computer, a first tracking dataset with the first distribution tracking data to create matched tracking data, wherein the first tracking dataset is one of a plurality of tracking datasets;
- analyzing, by the computer, the matched tracking data to determine notice distribution metrics;
- mapping, by the computer, the notice distribution metrics to operational events;
- calculating, by the computer, customer response statistics based upon the matched tracking data to produce granular data configured to reveal a distribution tracking lifecycle, wherein the distribution tracking lifecycle comprises an indication of a period of time between operational events;
- formulating, by the computer, a customer response trend based on a produced distribution tracking lifecycle;
- storing, by the computer, the customer response trend in a customer database;
- and
- formulating, by the computer, a customer-focused marketing plan based upon the customer response trend.
A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having computer-executable instructions stored thereon that that are executable by a distribution tracking computer to cause the computer to perform operations comprising:
- receiving, by the computer, first distribution tracking data from a service provider, wherein the first distribution tracking data is based upon detection of a first distribution tracking indicator associated with a notice, wherein a first notice tracking identifier is associated with the first distribution tracking indicator, wherein the first notice tracking identifier is one of a plurality of notice tracking identifiers, wherein each of the plurality of notice tracking identifiers is associated with a respective distribution tracking indicator and each respective distribution tracking indicator is configured to be detected;
- matching, by the computer, a first tracking dataset with the first distribution tracking data to create matched tracking data, wherein the first tracking dataset is one of a plurality of tracking datasets;
- analyzing, by the computer, the matched tracking data to determine notice distribution metrics;
- mapping, by the computer, the notice distribution metrics to operational events;
- calculating, by the computer, customer response statistics based upon the matched tracking data to produce granular data configured to reveal a distribution tracking lifecycle, wherein the distribution tracking lifecycle comprises an indication of a period of time between operational events;
- formulation, by the computer, a customer response trend based on a produced distribution tracking lifecycle;
- storing, by the computer, the customer response trend in a customer database;
- and
- formulating, by the computer, a customer-focused marketing plan based upon the customer response trend.
A notice distribution management system comprising:
- a network interface communicating with a memory;
- the memory communicating with a distribution tracking processor;
- and
- the processor, when executing the computer program, performs operations comprising:
- receiving, by the processor, first distribution tracking data from a service provider, wherein the first distribution tracking data is based upon detection of a first distribution tracking indicator associated with a notice, wherein a first notice tracking identifier is associated with the first distribution tracking indicator, wherein the first notice tracking identifier is one of a plurality of notice tracking identifiers, wherein each of the plurality of notice tracking identifiers is associated with a respective distribution tracking indicator and each respective distribution tracking indicator is configured to be detected;
- matching, by the processor, a first tracking dataset with the first distribution tracking data to create matched tracking data, wherein the first tracking dataset is one of a plurality of tracking datasets;
- analyzing, by the processor, the matched tracking data to determine notice distribution metrics;
- mapping, by the processor, the notice distribution metrics to operational events;
- calculating, by the processor, customer response statistics based upon the matched tracking data to produce granular data configured to reveal a distribution tracking lifecycle, wherein the distribution tracking lifecycle comprises an indication of a period of time between operational events;
- formulating, by the processor, a customer response trend based on a produced distribution tracking lifecycle:
- storing, by the processor, the customer response trend in a customer database;
- and
- formulating, by the processor, a customer-focused marketing plan based upon the customer response trend.
