Concrete sideform system

A combination of a sideform wall of a concrete sideform system and a capping accessory for use with the sideform wall, the capping accessory including:

• an elongate body member defining a shape-imparting portion which imparts a predetermined shape to an upper edge of an end profile of a concrete panel to be cast using the sideform system;
• and
• an attaching element carried by the body member for attaching the body member releasably to a coupling formation at an upper portion of the sideform wall;
• wherein the sideform wall has a front face to define said end profile of said concrete panel to be poured onto a casting bed bounded by the wall, and the shape-imparting portion projects outwardly from said front face of the sideform wall toward the panel to impart said predetermined shape to said upper edge of said end profile of the panel;
• and
• wherein the capping accessory is formed of a resiliently flexible material and configured whereby the capping accessory is fitted to the coupling formation by rolling the capping accessory onto the coupling formation so that the capping accessory snap locks into position on the sideform wall, and whereby the capping accessory is removed by pulling the capping accessory from a rear part thereof and rolling the capping accessory over the top of the sideform wall.
