Apparatus and method to feed livestock

A portable feed apparatus comprising a feed container, a mixing auger that receives feed from said feed container, a feed additive assembly in flowable connection with said mixing auger, a controller comprising a processor, a global positioning system (“GPS”) module in communication with said controller, a measurement device in communication with said controller, and a non-transitory computer readable medium in communication with said controller and comprising computer readable program code disposed therein, the computer readable program code comprising a series of computer readable program steps to effect:

• determining if said portable feed apparatus is positioned adjacent a designated feeding site;
• when said portable feed apparatus is positioned adjacent a designated feeding site, adding to a first quantity of feed disposed in said mixing auger a second quantity of feed additive;
• and
• dispensing said first quantity of feed in combination with said second quantity of said feed additive from said portable feed apparatus to said designated feeding site.
