Abstract
This document provides methods and materials related to the non-invasive measurement of analytes in blood.
Claims15
A method for assessing the level of an analyte within a human, the method comprising:
- generating, using a signal averaging technique, electrocardiogram results from said human;
- and
- comparing said results to a signal template to obtain an indication of the level of said analyte in said human.
A method for assessing a change in the level of an analyte within a human as compared to a previously determined level of said analyte, wherein said method comprises:
- (a) generating, using a signal averaging technique, electrocardiogram results from said human,
- (b) comparing said results to a signal template to obtain an indication of the level of said analyte in said human, and
- (c) comparing the level of said analyte in said human to said previously determined level of said analyte to determine a change, wherein said change is a change that is not detectable based on visual inspection of an ECG tracing.
A method for assessing a change in the level of an analyte within a human as compared to a previously determined level of said analyte, wherein said method comprises:
- (a) generating, using a signal averaging technique, an electrical recording result from an organ within said human,
- (b) comparing said result to a signal template to obtain an indication of the level of said analyte in said human, and
- (c) comparing the level of said analyte in said human to said previously determined level of said analyte to determine a change, wherein said change is a change that is not detectable based on visual inspection of an electrical recording of said organ.
