Mobile terminal and method for controlling the operation of the mobile terminal

A method for controlling operation of a mobile terminal equipped with a controller including an application processor and a communication processor, the method comprising:

• entering, by the controller, the mobile terminal in a smart phone mode and activating the application and communication processors when the mobile terminal is powered on;
• controlling, by the application processor, execution of a first operation and displaying a screen corresponding to the execution of the first operation on a display module;
• and
• changing, by the controller, an operation mode of the mobile terminal from the smart phone mode to a general phone mode when a predetermined user command is input,
• wherein the changing the operation mode further comprises
• storing, by the application processor, operation information associated with the first operation in a memory,
• deactivating, by the communication processor, the application processor, and
• performing, by the communication processor, a control operation for continuously executing the first operation with reference to the operation information stored in the memory and displaying a screen corresponding to the continuous execution of the first operation on the display module.
