Abstract
A server device may be configured to receive information regarding calls that have been placed; detect, based on the information regarding the calls that have been placed, an occurrence of an event; determine a set of base stations that are associated with the event; and broadcast, via the set of base stations, a message regarding the event.
Claims20
A method, comprising:
- receiving, by a server device, information regarding calls that have been placed;
- detecting, by the server device and based on the information regarding the calls that have been placed, an occurrence of an event associated with a particular region;
- determining, by the server device, a set of base stations that are associated with the particular region;
- broadcasting, by the server device and via the set of base stations, a message regarding the event;
- receiving, by the server device, indications regarding a plurality of calls to a particular recipient;
- and
- causing, by the server device, a first set of calls, of the plurality of calls, to be prioritized over a second set of calls, of the plurality of calls to the particular recipient,
- the first set of calls being placed by a first set of user devices located outside of the particular region, and
- the second set of calls being placed by a second set of user devices located within the particular region.

A system, comprising:
- a memory device storing a set of computer-executable instructions;
- and
- one or more processors configured to execute the computer-executable instructions, wherein executing the computer-executable instructions causes the one or more processors to:
- receive information regarding calls that have been placed;
- detect, based on the information regarding the calls that have been placed, an occurrence of an event;
- determine, based on the occurrence of the event, a set of user devices to which a message, regarding the event, should be broadcasted;
- broadcast the message to the set of user devices;
- receive indications regarding a plurality of calls to a particular recipient;
- and
- prioritize, a first set of calls, of the plurality of calls, over a second set of calls, of the plurality of calls to the particular recipient,
- the first set of calls being placed by a first set of user devices located outside of a particular region associated with the event, and
- the second set of calls being placed by a second set of user devices located within the particular region.

A computer-readable medium, comprising:
- a plurality of computer-executable instructions stored thereon, which when executed by one or more processors of a server device, cause the one or more processors to:
- receive information regarding calls that have been placed;
- detect, based on the information regarding the calls that have been placed, an occurrence of an event;
- determine, based on the occurrence of the event, a set of user devices to which a message, regarding the event, should be broadcasted;
- and
- broadcast the message to the set of user devices;
- receive indications regarding a plurality of calls to a particular recipient;
- and
- prioritize, a first set of calls, of the plurality of calls, over a second set of calls, of the plurality of calls to the particular recipient,
- the first set of calls being placed by a first set of user devices located outside of a particular region associated with the event, and
- the second set of calls being placed by a second set of user devices located within the particular region.
