Method of performing link adaptation procedure

A wireless apparatus of communicating in a wireless local area network, the wireless apparatus comprising:

• a processor;
• a memory operatively coupled with the processor and storing instructions that when executed by the processors causes to the wireless apparatus to:
• receive a first physical layer protocol data unit (PPDU) transmitted by an access point (AP) via multi-user multiple input/multiple output (MU MIMO) transmission to a plurality of mobile stations, the first PPDU including a first feedback sequence identifier that includes a specific value identifying the plurality of stations,
• determine that the wireless apparatus belongs to one of the plurality of stations indicated by the first feedback sequence identifier;
• if it is determined that the wireless apparatus belongs to one of the plurality of stations, estimating a MIMO channel based on the first PPDU;
• and
• transmitting a second PPDU to the AP,
• wherein the second PPDU includes channel information of the MIMO channel and a second feedback sequence identifier, the second feedback sequence identifier including the specific value indicated by the first feedback sequence identifier.
