Abstract
An electrostatic charge image developing toner includes toner particles that contain a colorant, a binder resin and a release agent, and an external additive, in which the external additive contains inorganic particles including an aliphatic alcohol having 5 or more carbon atoms and a melting point of 20° C. or lower on the surfaces thereof.
Claims12
An electrostatic charge image developing toner comprising:
- toner particles that contain a colorant, a binder resin and a release agent;
- and
- an external additive,
- wherein the external additive contains inorganic particles including an aliphatic alcohol physically adsorbed to the surfaces thereof, the aliphatic alcohol being selected from the group consisting of 1-pentanol, 2-pentanol, 1-hexanol, 2-hexanol, 1-octanol, isooctyl alcohol, 2-ethylhexanol, 1-nonanol, 1-decanol, cyclopentanol, and cyclooctanol.
