Abstract
The present invention is related to the field of tissue regeneration. It concerns more particularly new processes, tubes and devices for thrombin, platelet concentrate and wound healant preparations, alone or in combination with cell extracts, cell compositions and uses thereof.
Claims7
A method for the preparation of a wound healant composition, tissue healant composition, viscous gel, biological glue, mechanical support or filler comprising the steps of:
- a) collecting whole blood in a container comprising hyaluronic acid, said container optionally further comprising a gel and/or an anticoagulant,
- b) centrifuging said container to separate red blood cells from a supernatant comprising hyaluronic acid and enriched plasma,
- c) optionally re-suspending or mixing said hyaluronic acid and the enriched plasma,
- d) collecting the supernatant comprising said hyaluronic acid and said enriched plasma, and
- e) optionally further mixing said hyaluronic acid and said enriched plasma.
