Abstract
A method for preparing aqueous furnish to be used in paper or paper board manufacturing. Filler and/or fibers are treated with cationic polyelectrolyte and nanofibrillated cellulose. A furnish and a paper or a paper board.
Claims10
A method for preparing aqueous furnish to be used in paper or paper board manufacturing, the method comprising:
- adding at least a filler to a fiber suspension to make a fiber-filler suspension;
- and
- treating the filler and the fiber with cationic polyelectrolyte and nanofibrillated cellulose, wherein the filler and the fiber is treated first with cationic polyelectrolyte and second with nanofibrillated cellulose by adding first the cationic polyelectrolyte and then the nanofibrillated cellulose to the fiber-filler suspension.
