Bulb type apparatus and bulb socket

A bulb type apparatus, comprising:

• a bulb socket comprising:
• a main body having a head portion and a carrying portion arranged opposite to the head portion;
• a lighting module fixed on the carrying portion of the main body and electrically connecting to the head portion;
• and
• an adapter cover module comprising:
• a translucent cover coupled to the carrying portion of the main body for allowing light generated from the lighting module to go through the translucent cover, wherein the translucent cover has a receiving compartment;
• and
• a power supply unit disposed in the receiving compartment and electrically connected to the head portion;
• and
• an electronic device having a conductive terminal set, the electronic device detachably disposed in the receiving compartment of the translucent cover, and the conductive terminal set electrically connected to the power supply unit;
• wherein the bulb socket retains the electronic device via the cooperation of the conductive terminal set and the receiving compartment.
