Apparatus for continuous inclination adjustment of a pivotable vehicle part

An apparatus for continuous inclination adjustment of a component part of a vehicle, comprising:

• a pivot axle;
• a sleeve freewheel device for setting the continuous inclination about the pivot axle;
• a coupling device for coupling and uncoupling the sleeve freewheel device;
• and
• a control device for actuating the coupling device, wherein the control device comprises a control disc and is configured to lock an angle of inclination in a first pivoting direction and the control disc is rotatable about the pivot axle to unlock the angle of inclination when a predetermined angle of inclination is reached or exceeded so that the pivotable component part of the vehicle can be moved back into a starting position contrary to the first pivoting direction, wherein the control device is arranged outside the coupling device the control disc is not displaceable axially along the pivot axle.

A pivotable vehicle armrest configured for continuous inclination adjustment, comprising:

• a pivot axle movably connected to the vehicle armrest;
• a sleeve freewheel device for setting the continuous inclination about the pivot axle;
• a coupling device for coupling and uncoupling the sleeve freewheel device;
• and
• a control device for actuating the coupling device, wherein the control device comprises a control disc and is configured to lock an angle of inclination in a first pivoting direction and the control disc is rotatable about the pivot axle to unlock the angle of inclination when a predetermined angle of inclination is met, wherein the control device is arranged outside the coupling device and the control disc is not displaceable axially along the pivot axle.
