One or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing one or more programs that are configured, when executed, to cause one or more processors to:

• identify, in a backup job associated with a source storage, a first parent image backup file, a second parent image backup file, and a child image backup file;
• and
• generate and visually present, on an electronic display device associated with the one or more processors, a graphical user interface (GUI) relationship graph for displaying relationships between the image backup files in the backup job, the GUI relationship graph comprising:
• a first parent image node visually representing the first parent image backup file;
• a second parent image node visually representing the second parent image backup file;
• a child image node visually representing the child image backup file;
• and
• a reverse branching path including a first link and a second link, the first link visually representing a first parent-child relationship between the first parent image node and the child image node, the second link visually representing a second parent-child relationship between the second parent image node and the child image node.

One or more non-transitory computer-readable media storing one or more programs that are configured, when executed, to cause one or more processors to:

• identify, in a backup job associated with a source storage, multiple image backup files;
• and
• generate and visually present, on an electronic display device associated with the one or more processors, a graphical user interface (GUI) relationship graph for displaying relationships between the image backup files in the backup job, the GUI relationship graph comprising:
• multiple image nodes each visually representing one of the image backup files;
• and
• a chain path including multiple links, each of the links visually representing a parent-child relationship between one of the image nodes and another of the image nodes.
