Mobile scan setup and context capture prior to scanning

A server, comprising:

• an associating unit configured to associate a workflow to an image of a portion of a first document undergoing a scan process;
• a determining unit configured to determine if the image is to be associated with at least a portion of a second document undergoing a scan process;
• and
• a triggering unit configured to trigger an execution of the workflow for the document undergoing the scan process when the image is associated with the portion of the second document undergoing the scan process.

A multi-function device, comprising:

• a downloading unit configured to download preset workflows for implementation on a document undergoing a scan process;
• a user interface configured to display the preset workflows and prompt a user to select at least one of the workflows;
• and
• an execution unit configured to execute at least one of the preset workflows selected by a user after the document is scanned.
