Abstract
An apparatus comprising at least one processor and at least one memory including computer program code, the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to: detect an angle of tilt of a device comprising a touch-sensitive display, the touch-sensitive display configured to provide visual content associated with an application and a virtual keyboard for inputting characters in connection with the application, wherein the virtual keyboard is provided on top of the visual content; and adjust the opacity of the virtual keyboard according to the angle of tilt such that the underlying visual content is visible to a greater or lesser extent.

An apparatus comprising at least one processor and at least one memory including computer program code, the at least one memory and the computer program code configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the apparatus at least to:
- detect an angle of tilt of a device comprising a touch-sensitive display, the touch-sensitive display configured to provide visual content associated with an application and a virtual keyboard for inputting characters in connection with the application, wherein the virtual keyboard is provided on top of the visual content;
- and
- while the virtual keyboard is and remains active and visible upon the touch-sensitive display, adjust the opacity of the virtual keyboard according to the angle of tilt such that the underlying visual content is visible to a greater or lesser extent, wherein the virtual keyboard comprises a plurality of virtual keys associated with respective characters that remain unchanged as the angle of tilt is varied and the opacity of the virtual keyboard is corresponding adjusted in a continuous or stepwise manner in response to the angle of tilt.
A method comprising:
- detecting an angle of tilt of a device comprising a touch-sensitive display, the touch-sensitive display configured to provide visual content associated with an application and a virtual keyboard for inputting characters in connection with the application, wherein the virtual keyboard is provided on top of the visual content;
- and
- while the virtual keyboard is and remains active and visible up the touch-sensitive display, adjusting the opacity of the virtual keyboard according to the angle of tilt such that the underlying visual content is visible to a greater or lesser extent, wherein the virtual keyboard comprises a plurality of virtual keys associated with respective characters that remain unchanged as the angle of tilt is varied and the opacity of the virtual keyboard is corresponding adjusted in a continuous or stepwise manner in response to the angle of tilt.
